Master of Science in Nursing

The Master of Science (MSN) in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is designed to prepare professional registered nurses for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) roles as culturally competent primary care providers of clients, families, and communities.

The program is accessible with flexible pathways for registered nurses who hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing to earn their master’s degree conveniently and efficiently. Full-time study can be completed in two years and part-time study in three years. Classes are offered primarily online to accommodate competing demands for your time and the program has a deep commitment to providing access to appropriate preceptors and clinical sites.

Combining rigorous coursework with hands-on clinical experience, you will learn to collaboratively manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan as well as provide excellent community-based primary care to diverse, underserved, and vulnerable populations. Our innovative curriculum incorporates Interdisciplinary collaboration and meets the standards for national certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
