Master of Education in Instructional Technology: Instructional Technology Certification
The Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development offers advanced study opportunities in Instructional Technology. These courses provide teachers, media specialists, instructional supervisors and postsecondary personnel the skills and competence necessary to select and use technology in all its forms. Attention is directed to the unique needs of individuals who aspire to leadership positions in the Instructional Technology field. The M. Ed. program in Instructional Technology with Instructional Technology certification meets all Georgia Professional Standards Commission requiremets for certification.
- Complete requirements for a Master’s degree in education from a regionally accredited institution.
- Possess a valid, level 4 or higher Induction, Professional, Advanced Professional,or Lead Professional teaching certificate, leadership certificate, service field certificate, or Life certificate.
- Present a cumulative 2.50 (4.0 scale) grade point average or higher on all undergraduate and graduate work combined.
- Complete Disclosure and Affirmation questions that address misconduct disclosure, criminal background check, the Code of Ethics for Educators, and tort liability insurance. *International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited evaluation service and must be a course by course evaluation and include a GPA.(www.naces.org)"
