Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for licensed register nurses who would like to extend their knowledge and opportunities. This program emphasizes professional development, research, health promotion, community health, and leadership. If students are recent graduates of an associate-level program, they will need to provide a copy of their RN license prior to the beginning of their second semester in the program. Some practicum experiences are required. Students must already be a registered nurse (RN) to complete this program.

Admissions Information

Interested individuals will first need to apply to Gordon State College and send their official transcripts (from every college they have
attended) to admissions@gordonstate.edu. Upon acceptance, an advisor will contact the student to discuss any transfer credits and create a degree plan based upon the needs of the student. Students must already be a registered nurse (RN) to complete this program.
