Program Description

Georgia Tech offers you the flexibility to study anytime. Learning online allows you to build real-world knowledge and skills that advance your career while fulfilling your professional commitments. When you participate in our programs, you access a wealth of technological and industry knowledge while building a network comprised of Georgia Tech faculty and industry professionals. You get practical, directly applicable knowledge and credentials without leaving your home or office.

Courses are offered via the Internet. Lectures and student-faculty interaction are digitally captured during regular graduate and professional development courses each year and then posted for students to view on demand or by a packaged zip download.

Students are granted access to class materials online and will have an online account to submit and monitor homework and exams. Interactions with classmates and faculty members occur through telephone, e-mail, and in some cases threaded-discussions within Georgia Tech's course management systems. You'll also have access to the Georgia Tech library.

Students admitted to Georgia Tech for graduate study through the Georgia Tech Online program (GT Online) are assigned an academic advisor, who is their consultant on academic matters. Students communicate with their advisor and the course instructor by telephone, FAX, and/or electronic mail. Routine administrative matters are handled through the GT Online student support office. Students are encouraged to telephone for guidance and advice.
