Master of Management Information Systems
The Master of Management Information Systems (MMIS) program at Georgia College has been awarding quality degrees since 1989. The MMIS degree is designed to prepare students for a position in designing, implementing and managing corporate information resources or serving as a liaison between a functional area and a centralized IT office. The curriculum aligns with the required knowledge for the Certified Information Systems Auditor exam, making the MMIS degree a smart choice for individuals interested in a career in IT auditing as well. This 30-semester hour degree program offers courses in an online asynchronous/synchronous format so students get face-to-face class time through WebEx along with the flexibility of online sessions.
To be considered for admission, a student must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, GMAT or GRE scores or an approved GMAT/GRE waiver. A GMAT/GRE waiver may be awarded if an applicant meets at least one of the following criteria: 1) A prior advanced degree from a regionally accredited institution, 2) A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA in a business major from an AACSB accredited institution, 3) Significant, full-time professional work experience
