Master of Education in Library Media
Program Description
The Master of Education degrees in Library prepares graduates for careers in the school setting. It requires a minimum of 36 semester hours of course work. The degree program must be completed within six years of the initial date courses begin. Students may require more than 36 hours in order to qualify for certification. A T-4 certificate is not required for admission to the library media program of study but applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree. This degree is not offered in a cohort model.
Admissions Information
For admission to the program, process applicants should submit the following:
University Admissions Form including application fee, if applicable
Two professional recommendations
Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution to be eligible for admission into a graduate program at Georgia College.
Minimum GPA of 2.75
Verify two years teaching experience while holding a clear and renewable certificate
