Cybersecurity for FinTech
The certificate will prepare students for the high demand career in Cybersecurity for Fintech, which is critical in the financial services industry. Georgia, and Atlanta, are centers of the Fintech industry, with about 38,000 employees and over 120 companies, generating more than $72b in revenues. The certificate consists of a core curriculum that meets the talent needs of this sector as defined by the FinTech Playbook developed by the University System of Georgia.
You must be a current Georgia State student majoring in Computer Information Systems or Finance. Completion of Junior Core is required.
Your certificate, based on the completion of the courses with a ʺBʺ average or higher, will be officially awarded upon completion of your courses.
After you are accepted into a certificate program and have registered for your final course, you also must apply to receive the physical certificate through PAWS.
