Program Description

CSU's Fintech Certificate is a 4-course, 12-hour program of study designed to prepare students for careers in the Financial Technology Industry. Georgia, and Atlanta, are major global centers of the Fintech industry, with 170 companies employing 38,000 people and generating over 72 Billion dollars in annual revenue. The FinTech industry is one of Georgia's most important and fastest-growing sectors. The certificate consists of a core curriculum that meets the talent needs of this sector as defined by the FinTech Knowledge Framework developed by the University System of Georgia. The Certificate in FinTech includes topics such as foundations of financial transactions technology, commercial applications, financial information security, and financial data analytics. This program is available fully online, with no on-campus attendance requirements. Students conduct all work online, including class assignments and exams. Some elective courses may be optionally available on campus.

Admissions Information

This is a stand-alone certificate that does not require admission to a degree program at CSU. The FinTech Certificate is open to non-degree students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or to CSU students enrolled in any major.
