Course Description

Prerequisites: Registration for ENGL 0999 is required each semester unless waived by satisfactory placement scores for ENGL 1101 or completion of ENGL 0989 with a grade of B or higher. A composition course focusing on skills required for effective writing in a variety of contexts with emphasis on exposition, analysis and argumentation. Also includes introductory use of a variety of research skills. Students must earn the grade of C or higher to continue to ENGL 1102.
