Course Description

A survey of important works of World Literature from the Neoclassical period to the present. Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 passed with a grade of C or above. (3-0-3)

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Demonstrate the ability to compare, contrast and understand diverse literary texts, authors, and genres Analyze themes and ideas pertinent to World Literature from the mid-seventeenth century to the present Comprehend how historical or literary movements shape our understanding of literature
