3 class hours Prerequisite BISM 3100 or Permission of instructor The course introduces the fundamental principles of information systems analysis and design. Emphasis is on applying tools and techniques commonly used by systems analysts to build and document information systems. Classical and structured tools for describing data flow, data structure, process flow, file design, input and output design, and program specifications will be discussed. Object-oriented concepts and techniques will also be introduced.
