Enroll

Please use the following steps to enroll in online degrees or courses through Georgia ONmyLINE:

  1. Apply for admission. Before you can be enrolled in a degree or course, you must submit an application form and be accepted by the institution that offers it. This process often also requires submitting additional official information such as test scores and transcripts.

    NOTE: All admissions information should be provided in the searchable course and degree sections of Georgia ONmyLINE; however, the following general rules apply:

    Undergraduate Admissions

    • Undergraduate applications for all University System of Georgia institutions can be found in the GAcollege411.org website.

    Graduate Admissions

    • Graduate applications for the special new MED and MAT programs in Teacher Education highlighted in the Showcase section of Georgia ONmyLINE are provided below.
    • All other graduate applications can be found by going to Institutions on the navigation bar. Select your institution of choice and select the “Profile” link. Contact information and websites for graduate admissions at your chosen institutions are located here. Follow the institution’s regular graduate admissions process.
  2. Register for courses. After you are admitted, the institution will provide you with information regarding how to register for courses. This includes information about how to connect to the appropriate registration system along with specific directions.

If you have already been accepted to one of the institutions named above, you may click on the Registration tab above. You will need to have the information provided in your acceptance letter to get started.

If you have already been admitted to one of the new online Master of Education (MED) or Master of Arts (MAT) in Teaching Degrees, please use the following steps to register:

  1. Get started. Have your acceptance notice from your home institution available. The notice contains your Georgia ONmyLINE login and password information.
  2. Log in. You can access the registration system by going to the Student Portal Homepage. On your first login, you will be asked to answer a security question you can use in the future in case you forget your password. (Currently Internet Explorer 5.1 or higher or Safari 1.0 or higher are required to use the registration system.)
  3. Take the tutorial. After you log in, an online tutorial about the process for searching and choosing classes is available by clicking on the Online Registration link (located at the top center of the page). On the Online Registration page, select “View Online Registration Tutorial” to access the tutorial.
  4. Select your classes. After selecting classes, you will be directed to your home institution to complete the registration process and obtain billing information.
  5. Handle drop/add functions. You also will use the Georgia ONmyLINE registration system for drop/add actions, if needed.

If you have not been admitted to the new online MED and MAT Online Degree Programs, please read the following information:

  • If you have not yet been accepted to one of the institutions offering the new online MED and MAT programs, please go to the ENROLL page and select your home institution to access its Application for Admission page. Read the directions and complete the online admissions form.
  • If you have not yet received your acceptance notice OR have misplaced it, please go to the ENROLL page and select your home institution to access its Application for Admission page. Use the information located in the Contact Us box on this page (upper right hand corner) to contact your institution’s admissions office.

If you’ve been admitted to another undergraduate or graduate online degree program (besides the ones mentioned above), please contact your home institution’s registrar’s office to obtain additional information.
