The first in a series of courses based on American Sign Language concepts and principles. This course presents introductory components of ASL, including signs, fingerspelling, mime, body language, and facial expression. Information about the history of sign language and its existence in society today is also included. Skill focus is on re cognition and recall of American Sign Language.
